Interesting Article in USA TODAY on Red vs. Blue America

The article tries to go into the reasons why so many people voted red in this past election cycle.  The most interesting thing is that so many people voted for Bush...  that normally vote Democratic.  The major factor seems to have been Iraq.

Anyway, the article makes for interesting reading...

If you decide who to vote for based on the war, (none / 0)

are you going to choose the guy who supported it over the guy who started it?

It's like voting for Robin to replace Batman.

I agree...  it makes little sense...  especially as I read in this article things like... (paraphrasing here)  "I like Kerry's positions on social issues, but I didn't think it was a good idea to switch president's during a time of war."

It does, indeed, boggle the mind.
